The UNC Walk-Ons
About Us
The UNC Walk-Ons are a co-ed a cappella group from UNC-Chapel Hill. Founded in 2001, the Walk-Ons have become known for their fun-loving personalities that are eclectic as the songs they sing. In 2015, the Walk-Ons were thrilled to place second in the ICCA quarterfinals (better known as the pitch-perfect competition) and had a blast making the road trip to Gainesville, Florida, to compete in the regional semifinal. In 2017, the Walk-Ons returned to the ICCA quarterfinals and placed third while also earning Best Choreography.
Besides competing, the Walk-Ons have a blast putting on a concert each semester, complete with a wacky theme, a fun photoshoot and exciting musical arrangements. Some of their favorite themes have been "The Walk-Ons Go Greek" and "The Walk-Ons Walk On." Besides our concerts, the Walk-Ons can be found performing all around campus, including at noteworthy events on campus such as Sunset Serenade, Arts Everywhere and GiveUNC.
The Walk-Ons are committed to creating a diverse group of talented singers and they are so grateful for every new member. They appreciate the continuous support from friends and family as they continue to grow and change every semester.
